Arrive in Dar es Salaam

Arrive anytime at Dar es Salaam International Airport (DIA). We will arrange a private transfer from Airport to Mediteraneo Hotel / Johari rotana (or similar), where the rest of the day is at leisure. We will gather in the hotel for evening pre-safari briefing. We will also confirm you have the appropriate mandatory medical coverage and travel insurance.
DAY 2
Dar es salaam to Mikumi- 5 hrs drive
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
A Lodge/Tented Camp in Mikumi
Meet & greet in Dar es Salaam at 07:30am Hours and drive with lunch box to Mikumi National Park. Late afternoon game drive with sunset view & watch the animal’s drinking water at hippo pool. Overnight at Bastian luxury camp / Mikumi Wildlife Camp on FB Basis (Lunch & Dinner).
DAY 3
Mikumi to Dar es Salaam - 5 hrs drive
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT

After breakfast at 07:30am, short morning game drive till 11:00am Hours & drive back to Dar with lunch box and dropped off to Airport / Seaport / Hotel (Breakfast & Lunch inclusive). Overnight at Mediteraneo Hotel / Johari rotana (or similar), on HB Basis ( Dinner & Breakfast ).

Arrive in Zanzibar

Arrival at Zanzibar by Boat or Flight, on Arrival you will meet our representative at the airport or Port and pick up with private transfer to Stone town at Zanzibar Hotel/Lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Day leisure at stone town.

Your program starts with a morning visit by walk on our Historical Stone Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques!
DAY 6
Spice tour & Jozani Forest

Today you go on an excursion to the Jozani Forest and spice and fruit plantations close to Stone town for the famous Spice Tour. We have developed a special Spice Tour with in depth information not only about spices, but also organically grown herbs and a detailed description about their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking. After the tour we invite for an opulent lunch at our guides’ home, where you can taste the spices and fruits.

Jambiani Village Safari

In the morning you drive along the coast. Passing the fishing villages of Bwejuu and Paje you reach Jambiani, a fishermen village on the East coast of Zanzibar. We offer a cultural village tour to visit villagers working in different professions. Zanzibar Dolphin Tour

One day you go to an excursion to Kizimkazi. Situated on the southern point of the island, Kizimkazi fishing village is home to several schools of bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which can often be sighted following a short boat trip from the village. If you are lucky, you may be able to swim quite close to the dolphins, which can be a very rewarding experience. We are doing this trip in the afternoon to avoid the crowds of tourists
DAY 9
Departure in Zanzibar

Today you will be transferred back to Zanzibar International Airport in time for your onward travel. International flight or Boat to Dar es salaam.
The Tour Price Includes
- Transfer to/from Zanzibar Park

- Pick up and drop off at Zanzibar International Airport.
- Accommodation and meals per the itinerary (B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner).
- Dinner on day 1, breakfast, lunch and dinner on day 2-8 and breakfast on day 9 of your trip.
- Ground transportation Comfort vehicle with English Speaking Driver guide
- Zanzibar tour and all park entry fees , and Government tax 18% VAT on tour fees and service which cost nearly 60% of the total cost.
- Accommodation of your choice: from budget camping to staying in luxurious lodges, we can arrange it for you(the prices mentioned above are for overnight stays in Standard to Mid-range hotels/lodge/tented Camps according to the program, other prices are applicable for the other accommodation options).
The Tour Price Excludes
- Meals not listed above. eg Breakfast & lunch on the first day and lunch & dinner on the last
- Tanzania Visa cost which is 50% except for Canadian and USA passport holders which is US$100.
- International and Domestic Flights and departure taxes (Quoted separately where applicable)
- Optional activities and excursions (short safari/tour after your Zanzibar can be arranged upon request at an extra cost).
- Tips for the crew. We recommend a tip of 25 USD per day for your guide, and 15 USD per day for your cook, to be divided between each member of your group.
- Inoculations and personal insurance (e.g. Tanzania Visa, Travel, Medical and Baggage insurance, A doctor for the group, Laundry, Souvenirs, Telephone, dive/swimming gears, Beverages (available to purchase) and all other services that are not mentioned as included.
- Holiday Surcharge : A supplement of US $ 40.00 per person per day will apply to all bookings on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31 December and 1st January
- A supplement of US $ 35.00 per person will apply to all bookings between Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April (for all 4 days) as Easter holiday surcharge.
