Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, then introduction from our stuffs you will be picked up from your hotel | Airport in Dar es Salaam drive to Nyerere National Park which is almost (218.6 km) approximates 6 hours driving, arrive at Hippo camp in time for lunch. Enjoy evening boat safari then dinner and overnight at lodge | tented camp in Nyerere on Full Board Basis.

Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

After breakfast in the morning with your lunch boxes enjoy full day game inside the game reserve, great animal sightings including all the great favorites lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and all the other major species like hunting dogs and birds in the afternoon after lunch then proceed with the game drive until evening and overnight at lodge | tented camps in Nyerere on Full Board Basis.

Nyerere National Park to Mikumi national Park

After breakfast with your lunch boxes drive to Mikumi National Park 5 hours driving, arrive late afternoon enjoy game drive inside Mikumi park where you will able to see wide variety of bird species, zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland antelope, giraffe, buffalo and elephants and overnight at lodge | tented camps in Mikumi on Full Board Basis.

Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

Enjoy a full day of game drives in Mikumi National Park. You will eat a picnic lunch at midday and get the chance to see some of what you missed on the first day in the park. Your dinner and overnights stay will be at lodge | tented camp in Mikumi on Full Board Basis.

Mikumi National Park to Ruaha national Park

After breakfast early in the morning from Mikumi park drive to Ruaha national park which is 274 km with lunch boxes via Iringa town, you will be passing though country side and have nice scenery and beautiful valleys and mountains. Upon arrival you will Visit to the museum which holds the head of the great local chief Mkwawa who resisted the Germans in Iringa town, then drive to Ruaha for your Dinner and overnight at lodge | tented camp.

Ruaha National Park

Game drive and walking safari in Ruaha National Park

DAY 9
POST: Ruaha to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast with your lunch boxes drive back to Dar es Salaam, 8 hours driving arrive in night then drop at your Hotel | Lodge.
The Tour Price Includes
- Airport transfers (Pick-up and drop-off)
- Bottled mineral water in the vehicle while on safari.
- Accommodation and meals per the itinerary (B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner).
- Lunch and dinner on day 2, breakfast, lunch and dinner on day 3-8 and breakfast and lunch on day 9 of your trip.
- In case of a camping safari: camping gear like tents, camping mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, camping chairs, etc.
- Game drives, Concession fees, Accommodation, All park entry fees, Government tax 18% VAT on tour fees and Service which cost nearly 100% of the total cost.
- Transport in a 4×4 safari vehicle from your hotel in Arusha to the parks and back (other pick-up points possible, please contact us for the right price)
- Ground transportation in a 8 setter or 6 setter 4x4 Safari vehicle with English Speaking Driver guide: -
- 8 setter Safari vehicle has 6 windows seats (in the passenger cabin) and 1 window seat next to the driver (in front)
- 6 setter Safari vehicle has 4 windows seats (in the passenger cabin) and 1 window seat next to the driver (in front)
- Accommodation of your choice: from budget camping to staying in luxurious lodges, we can arrange it for you(the prices mentioned above are for overnight stays in Standard to Mid-range hotels/lodge/tented Camps according to the program, other prices are applicable for the other accommodation options).
The Tour Price Excludes
- Meals not listed above. eg Breakfast, lunch and dinner on the first day, Breakfast on the second day and dinner on the last day.
- Tanzania Visa cost which is 50% except for Canadian and USA passport holders which is US$100.
- International and Domestic Flights and departure taxes (Quoted separately where applicable)
- Optional activities and excursions (short safari/tour after your Safari can be arranged upon request at an extra cost).
- Pre and Post Accommodation in Dar es salaam. If you wish, we can however assist you in finding a place that corresponds to your needs and budget.
- Domestic flights from Dar to Nyerere and Ruaha to Dar es Salaam (on post day), We can however arrange airport pickup for you. Let us know your itinerary and we’ll make it happen!
- Ruaha balloon ride, per person Adult (Above 16yrs) $550, Child (7-16yrs) $530 {June - October} Daily launch at dawn (6:30am) returning approx. 9:45am.
- Tips for the crew. We recommend a tip of 25 USD per day for your guide, and 15 USD per day for your cook, to be divided between each member of your group.
- Inoculations and personal insurance (e.g. Tanzania Visa, Travel, Medical and Baggage insurance, A doctor for the group, Laundry, Souvenirs, Telephone, Beverages (available to purchase) and all other services that are not mentioned as included.
- Holiday Surcharge : A supplement of US $ 40.00 per person per day will apply to all bookings on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31 December and 1st January
- A supplement of US $ 35.00 per person will apply to all bookings between Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April (for all 4 days) as Easter holiday surcharge.
