Safari Overview
This 3-day camping or lodge safari in Tanzania is a private or group joining tour with guaranteed departure dates and daily departures. You can join a group at any time of the year. This 3-day private or group joining safari takes you to Tarangire National park, Lake Manyara, and the Ngorongoro Crater. Kim’zebra Adventures and Safaris clients who choose a Tanzania Budget Safari (Camping Safari) are able to experience the great outdoors, whilst being taken care of by the Crew. You will sleep in private tents in designated campsites, in or near the National Parks. It is important to know that the Campsites are not fenced. Wild animals can and do wander through the Camp, sometimes stopping to graze for a while. Your Crew will set up your tents for you every evening and pack them away the following morning. You will have your own Private Chef, who will stay with you for the duration of your safari. Our Chefs are very skilled at producing a wide range of dishes, with limited access to shops/markets and cooking equipment. Sample food includes soups, fresh fish/beef/chicken, stews, pasta, rice and ugali. Breakfast can include eggs, fresh fruit, pancakes, bacon and beans. Your Chef will provide a lunchbox for you to take on safari every day.

DAY 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
A Lodge/Tented Camp in/near Tarangire
08:00hrs drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for game drives with picnic lunch boxes. Located slightly off the main safari route, Tarangire National Park is a lovely, quiet park in Northern Tanzania. It is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and authentic safari atmosphere. Late afternoon depart the park and drive for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Campsite/Lodge/Tented Camp on full board basis.
DAY 2
Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
A Lodge/Tented Camp in/near Ngorongoro
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater and descend inside the crater for game drives with picnic lunch boxes. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai tribe. Late afternoon ascend from the crater and drive to ur chosen accommodation
DAY 3
Lake Manyara Tour (5 hours) and back to Arusha
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
Upon request at extra cost
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive with picnic lunch boxes. Lake Manyara National Park is a small but scenic safari park, excellent for bird-watching and a good area to find elephant, as well as the potential excitement of spotting a legendary Lake Manyara tree-climbing lion. Later afternoon depart the park and drive back to Arusha. End of services.

The Tour Price Includes
- Bottled mineral water in the vehicle while on safari.
- Pick up and drop off at Kilimanjaro (JRO) or Arusha Airport.
- Accommodation and meals per the itinerary (B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner).
- Lunch and dinner on day 1, breakfast, lunch and dinner on day 2 and breakfast and lunch on day 3 of your trip.
- If you choose a camping safari: camping gear like tents, camping mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, camping chairs, etc.
- Game drives, Concession fees, Accommodation, All park entry fees, Government tax 18% VAT on tour fees and Service which cost nearly 100% of the total cost.
- Transport in a 4×4 safari vehicle from your hotel in Arusha to the parks and back (other pick-up points possible, please contact us for the right price)
- Ground transportation in a 8 setter or 6 setter 4x4 Safari vehicle with English Speaking Driver guide: -
- 8 setter Safari vehicle has 6 windows seats (in the passenger cabin) and 1 window seat next to the driver (in front)
- 6 setter Safari vehicle has 4 windows seats (in the passenger cabin) and 1 window seat next to the driver (in front)
- Accommodation of your choice: from budget camping to staying in luxurious lodges, we can arrange it for you (The prices mentioned above are for overnight stays in Camping / Basic / Budget / Standard / Mid-range or Luxury hotels/lodges/tented camps according to your choice).
The Tour Price Excludes
- Meals not listed above. eg Breakfast on the first day and dinner on the last day.
- Tanzania Visa cost which is 50% except for Canadian and USA passport holders which is US$100.
- International and Domestic Flights and departure taxes (Quoted separately where applicable)
- Optional activities and excursions (short safari/tour after your Safari can be arranged upon request at an extra cost).
- Accommodation in Arusha. If you wish, we can however assist you in finding a place that corresponds to your needs and budget.
- Flights or other transport to Arusha. We can however arrange airport pickup for you. Let us know your itinerary and we’ll make it happen!
- Tips for the crew. We recommend a tip of 25 USD per day for your guide, and 15 USD per day for your cook, to be divided between each member of your group.
- Inoculations and personal insurance (e.g. Tanzania Visa, Travel, Medical and Baggage insurance, A doctor for the group, Laundry, Souvenirs, Telephone, Beverages (available to purchase) and all other services that are not mentioned as included.
- Holiday Surcharge : A supplement of US $ 40.00 per person per day will apply to all bookings on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31 December and 1st January
- A supplement of US $ 35.00 per person will apply to all bookings between Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April (for all 4 days) as Easter holiday surcharge.
