DAY 1
PRE DAY: Arrival in Arusha-Tanzania

Our Kilimanjaro adventure starts the Moment, on your arrival at Kilimanjaro international Airport / Arusha Airport, one of our welcoming transfer drivers will take you to your choice accommodation for the night, Rest in the afternoon or relax at the pool. Our operations team will meet you to check all your equipment and to give you a thorough briefing of what to expect on your trek and overall safari.
DAY 2
Marangu Gate (1980m) – Mandara Hut (2700m)
After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up from Arusha (1400m) and driven to the Marangu Gate (1980m). At the gate, the porters will organize and pack the belongings for the hike while you and your guide register with the Tanzania National Park. You will then begin your ascent into the rainforest. Each hut has 6-8 sleeping bunks (sleeps 60 hikers total) with solar generated lighting. The chef will prepare dinner for the client
DAY 3
Mandara Hut (2700m) – Horombo Hut (3720m)
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
At Kilimanjaro Horombo Hut
Following breakfast, hikers will begin their ascent out of the rainforest and into the heathen moorland. Hikers will pass the Maundi Crater and are able to climb up to its rim for a spectacular view of the Kibo Crater. In the moorland, you will spot exotic plants, including giant lobelia and groundsel. After 6 hours of hiking, you will reach Horombo Hut (3720m). You will enjoy evening snacks then dinner prepared by our chef.
DAY 4
Horombo Hut (3720m) – Acclimatization Day
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
At Kilimanjaro Horombo Hut
At Horombo Hut, you will spend the day allowing your body to acclimate to high altitude. You will have the option of doing a day hike to Mawenzi Hut (4600m) for further acclimatization with your guide. Breakfast and dinner will be at the hut and lunch will either be packed or at the hut depending on your preference for the day.
DAY 5
Horombo Hut (3720m) – Kibo Hut (4700m)

At Kilimanjaro Kibo Hut
Following an early morning breakfast, you will continue your ascent into the alpine desert habitat. Kibo Hut is located in the “Saddle,” which refers to the area located between the peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo in an alpine desert. There is no water at this camp, but hikers can buy mineral water and soft drinks at the camp office. An early dinner will be served so hikers can rest before attempting the summit the same night. Get to sleep by 19:00!
DAY 6
Kibo hut (4700m) – Uhuru Peak (5895m) – Horombo Hut (3720m)

At Kilimanjaro Horombo Hut
Your guide will wake you around 23:30 for tea and biscuits. You will then begin your summit attempt. You continue your ascent to Gillman’s point (5681m). Gillman’s is located on the crater rim. From this point, you will usually experience a snow covered trail until you reach the summit, Uhuru PeaK. At Kibo Hut, you will rest and enjoy a hot lunch in the sun. After eating, you will continue descending down to Horombo Hut (3720m).
DAY 7
Horombo Hut (3720m) – Marangu Gate (1980m) – Arusha
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT

After celebrating, you will descend for 6 hours back to Marangu Gate (1980m). The National Park requires all hikers to sign their names to receive certificates of completion. Hikers who reached Gillman’s Point (5681m) receive green certificate and hikers who reached Uhuru Peak (5895m) receive gold certificates. After receiving certificate, you will drive back to Arusha for long overdue showers and more celebrations. overnight at your hotel/lodge.
DAY 8
Kikuletwa Hot Springs Day Trip
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
A Hotel/Lodge in Arusha
We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha around 800am in the morning and drive for about 2-3 hours before we reach the Kikuletwa hot spring, also called Maji Moto hot springs or Chemka hot springs. Take a dip in the refreshing water, watch local boys jump from a rope into the water, showing some seriously impressive moves, as you enjoy the shadow of the beautiful palm and fig trees. We’ll drive you back around 4 in the afternoon.
DAY 9
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Pick up from the hotel of your choice in Arusha and set off for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the ride through beautiful vistas of Mount Meru and unspoilt sceneries, Enjoy safari drives within this picturesque National Park, later drive for dinner and overnight at lodge/tented camp on Full Board Basis.
DAY 10
Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
A Lodge/Tented Camp in/near Manyara
After breakfast, drive with picnic lunch boxes to Manyara National Park in time for lunch. Before and after lunch enjoy the beautiful panorama of the lake Manyara with different colorful birds species. Dinner and overnight at lodge/tented camp on Full Board Basis.
DAY 11
Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
A Lodge/Tented Camp in/near Ngorongoro
Enjoy a half day of safari drives inside the crater in private vehicle. Picnic lunch boxes will be provided. Late afternoon return to the lodge for relaxation and enjoy the facilities of this beautiful lodge. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
DAY 12
Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge

After breakfast, at 07:00 am drive with picnic lunch boxes to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, commonly named as “The Cradle of Mankind”-an archaeological excavation site and museum where fossils of ‘Early East Africa Man’ were discovered by the Leakey family. see the Wildebeest Migration Safari En-route to the accommodation, enjoy safari drives within this vast savannah plains enjoying the splendors Serengeti. After breakfast you will be transferred to Seronera Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met by Kim’zebra Adventures and Safaris representative and transferred to hotel in Stone Town for overnight on Bed & Breakfast Basis.
DAY 16
Zanzibar Stone Town

After breakfast, embark on day’s activities (to be selected from a range of activities and pay directly to our representative for the excursions in Zanzibar) and return to Stone Town at for overnight on Bed & Breakfast Basis.
DAY 17
Stone Town - Spice Plantation - Nungwi Beach

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, guided tour through Stone Town, followed by a tour through a spice plantation. Lunch at spice farm, and then depart for Nungwi Beach in the North of Zanzibar. Dinner and overnight in hotel/Lodge in Superior (Chalet Sea view room) (HB).
DAY 18
Dolphin and Jozani Forest Tour
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT

At 8:30 a trip to dolphin watching tour, a day trip to kizimkazi, there you may swim with hundreds of spinner & bottle-nose dolphins playing off Kizimkazi beach & give you a chance to experience. Special natural message in the Indian ocean, at 2:30pm driving to jozani forest tour for red Colobus Monkeys, natural forest, and mangrove forest the living spices of fish under neath. Back to town for dinner and overnight in hotel/Lodge.
DAY 19
Zanzibar Stone Town – Zanzibar Beach

After breakfast, at 10:00 am Kim’zebra Adventures & Safaris representative in Z’bar will transfer you to the beach – North Coast of Zanzibar at Nungwi beach, afternoon at leisure at beach, hot lunch, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Out of Tanzania & Zanzibar Island, Today you will have to bid a fond farewell to Tanzania and Zanzibar Island. The Tour Price Includes

- Pre and after trek accommodation at the hotel, 2 nights at Mid range hotel/lodge/resort in Moshi/Arusha with bed & breakfast (BB) Meal.
- Fair wages for the mountain crew as approved by the Kilimanjaro National Park Authority (KINAPA), Kilimanjaro Association of Tour Operators (KIATO).
- Luggage allowance for your main bag, that will be carried by a porter, up to max. 15 kg. To make the porter’s life easier, we however strongly recommend to limit the weight of your main bag to 12 kg. For all bags exceeding 15 kg, you will need to pay for an extra porter before the start of your climb. All extra luggage, items you will not use on your climb, such safari clothing, gear and equipment, can also be safely stored at the hotel.
- In case of a camping safari: camping gear like tents, camping mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, camping chairs, etc.
- Transport in a 4×4 safari vehicle from your hotel in Arusha to the parks and back (other pick-up points possible, please contact us for the right price)
- Ground transportation in a 8 setter or 6 setter 4x4 Safari vehicle with English Speaking Driver guide: -
- Accommodation of your choice: from budget camping to staying in luxurious lodges, we can arrange it for you (The prices mentioned above are for overnight stays in Budget/Standard/Mid-range or Luxury hotels/lodges/tented camps according to your choice).
The Tour Price Excludes
- Meals not listed above. eg Breakfast and Lunch on the first day, Lunch and dinner on the last day.
- Tanzania Visa cost which is 50% except for Canadian and USA passport holders which is US$100.
- Portable flush toilet with a toilet tent is extra (US$100 per toilet + toilet tent)
- Mountain gears + Sleeping bag (can be rented, please ask us at the time of the booking).
- International and Domestic Flights and departure taxes (Quoted separately where applicable)
- Optional activities and excursions (short safari/tour after your Safari can be arranged upon request at an extra cost).
- Post accommodation in Zanzibar or Dar Es Salaam. If you wish, we can however assist you in finding a place that corresponds to your needs and budget.
- Serengeti Black Rhinos Project (Moru Kopjes) fees: US$ 100 + 35US$ (VAT18% & other fees) Per Person Per Day (Option, If you need).
- Ngorongoro | Ndutu balloon ride, per person Adult (Above 16yrs) $580, Child (7-16yrs) $530 {20th Dec - 31st March} Daily launch at dawn (6:30am) returning approx. 9:45am (Option, If you need).
- Serengeti balloon ride, per person Adult (Above 16yrs) $599, Child (7-16yrs) $545. {Central All year round, Western 15th May - 30th Oct, and North 15th June - 15th Jan} Daily launch at dawn (6:30am) returning approx. 9:45am (Option, If you need).
- Flights or other transport to Arusha. We can however arrange airport pickup for you. Let us know your itinerary and we’ll make it happen!
- Inoculations and personal insurance (e.g. Tanzania Visa, Travel, Medical and Baggage insurance, A doctor for the group, Laundry, Souvenirs, Telephone, Beverages (available to purchase) and all other services that are not mentioned as included.
- Tips for the crew, which are mandatory on Kilimanjaro. The minimum amount is 15 USD per day per guide, 10 USD per cook per day and 10 USD per porter per day. We however strongly recommend a more correct tip of 25 USD per guide per day, 15 USD per cook per day and 15 USD per porter per day. All these amounts are to be divided by all group members.
- Holiday Surcharge : A supplement of US $ 40.00 per person per day will apply to all bookings on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31 December and 1st January
- A supplement of US $ 35.00 per person will apply to all bookings between Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April (for all 4 days) as Easter holiday surcharge.
