The National Parks and Reserves of northern Tanzania need little introduction to wildlife enthusiasts. The vast Serengeti National Park, is arguably the finest reserve on the continent, home to millions of plains animals and a profusion of predators. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, whilst Tarangire National Park is well known for its dense elephant population and magnificent Baobab trees.
Add to this, Aberdare is dominated by forests and moorlands which habit a huge population of birds making the park a birding paradise, in Aberdare National Park there is over 250 bird species include Aberdare cisticola endemic specie to the region. Africa's spectacular Rift Valley, with the wide open plains of East Africa stretched before us. This safari explores Africa's tribal people and its wildlife unchallenged in their diversity. This safari will take you to the Kenya's best locations such as Nairobi City (2d), Aberdare (1day), Lake Nakuru (1d), Maasai Mara (2d) and Tanzania's best locations such as Arusha City (1d), Serengeti (2d), Ngorongoro Conservation Areas (2d), Tarangire (1d), Zanzibar beach (6d) and arrive and departure (2d).
You will be met at the International Airport of Nairobi by your Driver/Guide and our representative and taken to your hotel, Dinner and overnight on Half Board Basis.
After breakfast, departure to Nyeri. Lunch at the Aberdare Country Club. In the afternoon, transfer to Aberdare National Park in hotel vehicles. Arrival, dinner, and accommodation.
Breakfast and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon safari. After the safari, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive towards Masai Mara - the land of vast migrating herds. Arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to get a closer look at the Mara. Return to an archetypal Mara Lodge / tented camp for sundowners, dinner and overnight stay.
Full day game drives to absorb the enormity of the Mara. In this country of breathtaking vistas, view its vast assemblages of plains game together with their associated predators: Buffalo, Black Rhino, Hippopotamus, Leopard, Cheetah, Common Zebra, Coke's Hartebeest, White bearded Gnu, Oribi, Warthog, and Thompson's and Grant's Gazelles. We depart at approx 08h00, and make our way from Nairobi and over the border into Tanzania. Your guides will assist with all formalities and after clearing customs and immigration we’ll be on our way to Arusha. Dominated by Mt Meru (4556) the bustling town of Arusha is the gateway to the northern Tanzanian Safari circuit. Dinner and overnight stay.
Serengeti, which means “endless plains” in Masai, is one of the best-known wildlife areas in the world. The park is host to the spectacular annual migration of wildebeest in late May or early June, where over 6 million hooves pound the legendary plains of the Serengeti in search of greener pastures. After breakfast, game drive to the Serengeti Plains, the most famous of Tanzania's National Parks. It is most well-known for the annual migration which takes place across the great savannah plains. Arrive at a luxurious lodge in time for lunch or will pick a lunch boxes and after have a game drive and then return to the lodge for relaxation. After breakfast, drive towards Ngorongoro. You will have a stop over at the archaeological site of Olduvai Gorge - "the Cradle of Mankind". Here, Mary and Louis Leakey found fossilized remains of man's oldest ancestors. Proceed later to Ngorongoro, arriving at a strategically located lodge, on the rim of the crater with magnificent views. Dinner and overnight at lodge/tented camp on Full Board Basis.
After an early morning breakfast you will descend into the crater for a full day game viewing with lunch boxes en-route. Ngorongoro crater is referred by many people as "eighth wonder of the world". The crater walls are 2000ft high and the floor spreads for 102sq miles, a truly awesome sight. It contains a river, several swamps, and a lake-complete with flamingoes, a forest and open plains. We depart early morning from Karatu on route to Tarangire National Park. Dominated by the Tarangire river which flows through the Park we enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park before returning to Arusha late evening. Breakfast and lunch included.
After breakfast, departure to Arusha. At the agreed time, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for the international flight. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met by Kim’zebra Adventures and Safaris representative and transferred to hotel in Stone Town for overnight on Bed & Breakfast Basis.
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, guided tour through Stone Town, followed by a tour through a spice plantation. Lunch at spice farm, and then depart for Nungwi Beach in the North of Zanzibar. Dinner and overnight in hotel/Lodge in Superior (Chalet Sea view room)
There’s not a lot to do in Jambiani, but that’s kind of the beauty of it. You can take a half-day cooking class at Tangawizi Bistro, learn how to play bao at Coral Rock, or just swim to your heart’s content in the beautiful aqua waters. You can’t go to Zanzibar and not have lunch at The Rock Restaurant! The Rock Restaurant is a tiny restaurant perched on a rock in the Indian Ocean, and it’s only a twenty-minute drive from Jambiani.
Mnemba Atoll is the most famous Conservation area in Zanzibar. It consists of a seven by four kilometers reef, containing the tiny Mnemba Island. Mnemba is famous for encounters with Green Turtles and Common Dolphins. For some reason Mnemba Dolphins really like to play . They often tend to swim right next to our boat, and so allowing you to jump in the water. Dinner and overnight in hotel/Lodge in Nungwi.
After Breakfast, we take you to your beach resort. On the way, you pass Jozani Forest, the last habitat of the rare endemic Red Colobus Monkey. With a local guide, you stroll through Jozani Chwaka National Park and look at the rare monkeys. You also have the option to wander down the boardwalk to the fascinating Mangrove Ecosystem.
After breakfast, at 10:00 am Kim’zebra Adventures & Safaris representative in Z’bar will transfer you to the beach – North Coast of Zanzibar at Nungwi beach, afternoon at leisure at beach, hot lunch, dinner and overnight at hotel.
Prison Island currently known as Changu Island. This island was also better off known as Quarantine Island. Prison Island was initially a prison for rebellious slaves in 1860s and also functioned as a coral mine. The island was only occupied half the year and the rest of the time it was a popular holiday destination. The island was uninhabited until the 1860s when the first Sultan of Zanzibar, Majid bin Said. Back to town for dinner & overnight.
