Safari Overview
The spectacular Rift Valley, with the wide-open plains of east Africa is stretched before you. On this stunning safari we take in some of the very best of Kenya’s Big Five game viewing National Parks and its outstanding tribal people and scenery. The National Parks and Reserves of northern Tanzania need little introduction to wildlife enthusiasts. The vast Serengeti National Park, is arguably the finest reserve on the continent, home to millions of plains animals and a profusion of predators. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, whilst Tarangire National Park is well known for its dense elephant population and magnificent Baobab trees.
Add to this, Aberdare is dominated by forests and moorlands which habit a huge population of birds making the park a birding paradise, in Aberdare National Park there is over 250 bird species include Aberdare cisticola endemic specie to the region. Africa's spectacular Rift Valley, with the wide open plains of East Africa stretched before us. This safari explores Africa's tribal people and its wildlife unchallenged in their diversity. This safari will take you to the Kenya's best locations such as Nairobi City (2d), Aberdare (1day), Lake Nakuru (1d), Maasai Mara (2d) and Tanzania's best locations such as Arusha City (1d), Serengeti (2d), Ngorongoro Conservation Areas (2d), Tarangire (1d), Zanzibar beach (6d) and arrive and departure (2d).

DAY 1
PRE DAY: Arrival in Nairobi

DAY 2
Nairobi – Aberdare National Park (200 km) 4 hours

After breakfast, departure to Nyeri. Lunch at the Aberdare Country Club. In the afternoon, transfer to Aberdare National Park in hotel vehicles. Arrival, dinner, and accommodation.

Aberdare - Lake Nakuru (141 km) 3 ½ hours

Breakfast and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon safari. After the safari, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4
Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve (278 km) 5 hours

After breakfast, drive towards Masai Mara - the land of vast migrating herds. Arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to get a closer look at the Mara. Return to an archetypal Mara Lodge / tented camp for sundowners, dinner and overnight stay.

Full day game drives to absorb the enormity of the Mara. In this country of breathtaking vistas, view its vast assemblages of plains game together with their associated predators: Buffalo, Black Rhino, Hippopotamus, Leopard, Cheetah, Common Zebra, Coke's Hartebeest, White bearded Gnu, Oribi, Warthog, and Thompson's and Grant's Gazelles. Dinner and overnight at lodge/tented camp on Full Board Basis.
DAY 6
Masai Mara to Nairobi (230 km) 4 ½ hours

We enjoy a hearty breakfast, before we break down our camp and head back to Nairobi arriving around lunch time, where we check into our hotel in Nairobi. Rest of day at leisure to explore the city. Dinner and overnight at lodge/tented camp on Full Board Basis.
DAY 7
Nairobi to Namanga then Arusha (300 km) 4½-6 hours

We depart at approx 08h00, and make our way from Nairobi and over the border into Tanzania. Your guides will assist with all formalities and after clearing customs and immigration we’ll be on our way to Arusha. Dominated by Mt Meru (4556) the bustling town of Arusha is the gateway to the northern Tanzanian Safari circuit. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 8
Arusha to Serengeti National Park (360 km) 5 ½ - 6 hours

Serengeti, which means “endless plains” in Masai, is one of the best-known wildlife areas in the world. The park is host to the spectacular annual migration of wildebeest in late May or early June, where over 6 million hooves pound the legendary plains of the Serengeti in search of greener pastures. After breakfast, game drive to the Serengeti Plains, the most famous of Tanzania's National Parks. It is most well-known for the annual migration which takes place across the great savannah plains. Arrive at a luxurious lodge in time for lunch or will pick a lunch boxes and after have a game drive and then return to the lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at lodge/tented camp on Full Board Basis.
DAY 10
Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater (140 km) 3 hours

After breakfast, drive towards Ngorongoro. You will have a stop over at the archaeological site of Olduvai Gorge - "the Cradle of Mankind". Here, Mary and Louis Leakey found fossilized remains of man's oldest ancestors. Proceed later to Ngorongoro, arriving at a strategically located lodge, on the rim of the crater with magnificent views. Dinner and overnight at lodge/tented camp on Full Board Basis.

After an early morning breakfast you will descend into the crater for a full day game viewing with lunch boxes en-route. Ngorongoro crater is referred by many people as "eighth wonder of the world". The crater walls are 2000ft high and the floor spreads for 102sq miles, a truly awesome sight. It contains a river, several swamps, and a lake-complete with flamingoes, a forest and open plains. DAY 12
Karatu – Tarangire – Arusha (180km) 3 hours
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT

We depart early morning from Karatu on route to Tarangire National Park. Dominated by the Tarangire river which flows through the Park we enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park before returning to Arusha late evening. Breakfast and lunch included.
DAY 13
JRO Airport | ARK Airport - fly to Zanzibar 2 hours (415km)

After breakfast, departure to Arusha. At the agreed time, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for the international flight. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met by Kim’zebra Adventures and Safaris representative and transferred to hotel in Stone Town for overnight on Bed & Breakfast Basis.
DAY 14
Stone Town - Spice Plantation - Nungwi Beach

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, guided tour through Stone Town, followed by a tour through a spice plantation. Lunch at spice farm, and then depart for Nungwi Beach in the North of Zanzibar. Dinner and overnight in hotel/Lodge in Superior (Chalet Sea view room)
DAY 15
Jambiani Beach & Lunch at The Rock Restaurant in Michamvi

There’s not a lot to do in Jambiani, but that’s kind of the beauty of it. You can take a half-day cooking class at Tangawizi Bistro, learn how to play bao at Coral Rock, or just swim to your heart’s content in the beautiful aqua waters. You can’t go to Zanzibar and not have lunch at The Rock Restaurant! The Rock Restaurant is a tiny restaurant perched on a rock in the Indian Ocean, and it’s only a twenty-minute drive from Jambiani.
DAY 16
Mnemba Atoll Snorkeling Trip

Mnemba Atoll is the most famous Conservation area in Zanzibar. It consists of a seven by four kilometers reef, containing the tiny Mnemba Island. Mnemba is famous for encounters with Green Turtles and Common Dolphins. For some reason Mnemba Dolphins really like to play . They often tend to swim right next to our boat, and so allowing you to jump in the water. Dinner and overnight in hotel/Lodge in Nungwi.
DAY 17
Zanzibar Jozani Forest Tour

After Breakfast, we take you to your beach resort. On the way, you pass Jozani Forest, the last habitat of the rare endemic Red Colobus Monkey. With a local guide, you stroll through Jozani Chwaka National Park and look at the rare monkeys. You also have the option to wander down the boardwalk to the fascinating Mangrove Ecosystem.
DAY 18
Zanzibar Beach Holiday

The Tour Price Includes
- Safari Start and end in Nairobi | Zanzibar.
- Pick up and drop off at JKIA or Znz Airport.
- Bottled mineral water in the vehicle while on safari (1.5Ltr per day).
- In case of a camping safari: camping gear like tents, camping mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, camping chairs, etc.
- Accommodation and meals per the itinerary (B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner).
- Dinner on day 1, breakfast, lunch and dinner on day 2-19 and Breakfast on day 20 of your trip. This tour offers Vegetarian, Vegan and Halal food options on request. Simply let our administrator team know the food option that you prefer.

The Tour Price Excludes

- Tanzania & Kenya Visa cost which is 50% except for Canadian and USA passport holders which is US$100 Per Visa.
- International and Domestic Flights and departure taxes (Quoted separately where applicable)
- Optional activities and excursions (short safari/tour after your Safari can be arranged upon request at an extra cost).
- Post accommodation in Zanzibar. If you wish, we can however assist you in finding a place that corresponds to your needs and budget.
- Serengeti Black Rhinos Project (Moru Kopjes) fees: US$ 100 + 35US$ (VAT18% & other fees) Per Person Per Day (Option, If you need).
- Flights or other transport to/from Dar Es Salaam | Zanzibar. We can however arrange airport pickup for you. Let us know your itinerary and we’ll make it happen!
- Domestic flight from Maasai Mara to Serengeti | Zanzibar (ZNZ Airport) to Dar es Salaam (DAR Airport) or Kenya, Nairobi (JKIA Airport) {Can be arranged upon request at an extra cost, Please ask us at the time of the booking}
- Tips for the crew. We recommend a tip of 25 USD per day for your guide, and 15 USD per day for your cook, to be divided between each member of your group.
- Inoculations and personal insurance (e.g. Visa, Travel, Medical and Baggage insurance, A doctor for the group, Laundry, Souvenirs, Telephone, Beverages (available to purchase) and all other services that are not mentioned as included.
- Holiday Surcharge : A supplement of US $ 40.00 per person per day will apply to all bookings on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31 December and 1st January
- A supplement of US $ 35.00 per person will apply to all bookings between Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April (for all 4 days) as Easter holiday surcharge.
