Welcome to Mikumi National parks rich in wildlife like buffalo, elephant, lions, wildebeests, Maasai giraffe, hippos, impalas, and crocodile, there are also, zebras and warthogs. Most of the animals can be seen at all seasons. Flying from Dar es salaam to Mikumi National park is about 2 hours, there is daily flights from (Departs 07:30am/10:30am, arrive 09:00am/12:00pm) Dar es salaam to Mikumi National Park, this is a perfect 2 days game safari if you just want to experience the wildlife and you don’t have much time to travel all day from Dar es salaam to Mikumi (The drive from Dar es salaam to Mikumi takes about 5-6 hours). In this safari you will have game safari on arrival first day from 12pm to 5:30pm.

Early morning on this day 7:30am our driver will pick you up at the place of stay in Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam and drive to the Airport to catch your flight to Mikumi which departs at 07:30/10:30am and arrive in Mikumi park around 09:00/12:00pm, arrive in afternoon meet your driver/guide enjoy afternoon and evening game drive Mikumi National Park with your packed lunch for at least 3-6 hours, great animals sightings in different areas of the park

MORNING & AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE - ZANZIBAR / DAR ES SALAAM

On this day your driver/guide will pick you up at 6:30am, this is a recommended and best time to spot more animals before the sun gets strong and animals seek for shades. This game drive will go up to 9am where you will have a quick stop for breakfast and continue for game drive till 1pm where you will have a break for lunch and rest wait for your flight back home which departs 15:10pm

The Tour Price Includes
- Bottled mineral water in the vehicle while on safari.
- Pick up and drop off at Dar es salaam / Zanziar Airport.
- Accommodation and meals per the itinerary (B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner).
- Lunch and dinner on day 1 and breakfast and lunch on day 2 of your trip.
- If you choose a camping safari: camping gear like tents, camping mattresses, pillows, camping chairs, etc.
- Game drives and all park entry fees 18% VAT on tour fees and service which cost nearly 100% of the total cost.
- Transport in a 4×4 safari vehicle from your hotel to the parks and back (other pick-up points possible, please contact us for the right price)

The Tour Price Excludes
- Meals not listed above. eg Breakfast on the first day and dinner on the last
- Tanzania Visa cost which is 50% except for Canadian and USA passport holders which is US$100.
- International and departure taxes (Quoted separately where applicable)
- Optional activities and excursions (short safari/tour after your Safari can be arranged upon request at an extra cost).
- Accommodation in Dar es salaam / Zanzibar. If you wish, we can however assist you in finding a place that corresponds to your needs and budget.
- Flights or other transport to Dar Es Salaam / Zanzibar. We can however arrange airport pickup for you. Let us know your itinerary and we’ll make it happen!
- Tips for the crew. We recommend a tip of 25 USD per day for your guide, and 15 USD per day for your cook, to be divided between each member of your group.
- Inoculations and personal insurance (e.g. Tanzania Visa, Travel, Medical and Baggage insurance, A doctor for the group, Laundry, Souvenirs, Telephone, Beverages (available to purchase) and all other services that are not mentioned as included.
- Holiday Surcharge : A supplement of US $ 40.00 per person per day will apply to all bookings on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31 December and 1st January
- A supplement of US $ 35.00 per person will apply to all bookings between Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April (for all 4 days) as Easter holiday surcharge.
