Bush to Beach Safari combines wildlife safari of Tanzania with Zanzibar beach holiday. Parks to be visited include Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Park. Finally, we cap off your safari with a relaxing beach holiday at the famous island of Zanzibar. Offering five national parks in as many days, this tour never disappoints. The parks are breathtaking, and the variety of animals is huge at Manyara, Serengeti, and Tarangire to the diversity of Ngorongoro with the chance to spot some of the rarest species like the black Rhino. DAY 1
Day 01: Arrival In Arusha

You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. Our staff will answer all your queries regarding your upcoming safari and provide you with a short briefing as well. Afterwards, you will be taken to your chosen accommodation for overnight.
DAY 2
Transfer to Tarangire National Park

We leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park. This park covering approximately 2600 square kilometers is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, eland and oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rains when they migrate again to good grazing areas.
DAY 3
Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we proceed to the Central part of Serengeti. This park is well-known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the "big five", named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffaloes, and Rhinos.
DAY 4
Central Serengeti – Kogatende

After breakfast, we will drive from the central to the north looking for wildebeest when crossing the mara river, lately drive to chosen accommodation for overnight.
DAY 5
Northern - Central Serengeti

After breakfast, we will leave for game drive along the mara river before we go back to the central. Serengeti, among other incredible wildlife and stunning views is famed for the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundred thousands of zebras, a frenzied bout of territorial conquests and mating happening from July-October. Witness an actual survival of the fittest as these animals plunge through crocodile-infested waters.
DAY 6
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will drive to Ngorongoro for the crater tour with picnic descent to the crater floor for the day tour. Some 20,000 mammals live in the area including about 20 black rhinoceros, making the crater the best place in Tanzania to see these amazing creatures. The crater floor also has one of the highest carnivore densities in the world. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas & jackals are commonly seen, leopards, servals may be seen with some luck
DAY 7
Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at 8:00hrs we head to Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.
DAY 8
Kilimanjaro International Airport - Flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast, You will then take a flight from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport to Zanzibar Airport in the early afternoon.
DAY 9
Zanzibar Stone Town and Spice Tour

We have developed a special Spice Tour with in depth information not only about spices, but also organically grown herbs and a detailed description about their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking. After this educational tour, we have a sumptuous lunch at one of the eateries within town, where you can taste the spices and fruits. Include hot lunch, dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 10
Zanzibar Stone Town - Zanzibar Beach

After breakfast, you will go on a guided tour of stone town, A World Heritage Site. Experience tracing the footsteps of Arab Sultans on Zanzibar and ponder on the interesting historical sites and labyrinths. See actual Zanzibar doors famous for its unique architectural tradition. After lunch, we will proceed to a tour of the countryside to the spice plantations. This place has a rich history and you will be welcomed by the rich aroma of spices...
DAY 11
Zanzibar Jozani Forest Tour

After Breakfast, we take you to your beach resort. On the way, you pass Jozani Forest, the last habitat of the rare endemic Red Colobus Monkey. With a local guide, you stroll through Jozani Chwaka National Park and look at the rare monkeys. You also have the option to wander down the boardwalk to the fascinating Mangrove Ecosystem.
DAY 12
Zanzibar Prison Island Tour

Prison Island currently known as Changu Island. This island was also better off known as Quarantine Island. Prison Island was initially a prison for rebellious slaves in 1860s and also functioned as a coral mine. The island was only occupied half the year and the rest of the time it was a popular holiday destination. The island was uninhabited until the 1860s when the first Sultan of Zanzibar, Majid bin Said. Back to town for dinner & overnight.
DAY 13
Departure - Abeid Amani Karume International Airport

On your last day, enjoy the rest of your stay by relaxing in the pool or in the beach while taking in as much sunshine as you can. In the late morning, we will take you to the airport for your onward destination.
The Tour Price Includes
- Airport transfers (Pick-up and drop-off)
- One way domestic flight from Arusha to Zanzibar.
- Bottled mineral water in the vehicle while on safari.
- Accommodation and meals per the itinerary (B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner).
- Dinner on day 1, breakfast, lunch and dinner on day 2-12 and breakfast on day 13 of your trip.
- In case of a camping safari: camping gear like tents, camping mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, camping chairs, etc.
- Game drives and all park entry fees 18% VAT on tour fees and service which cost nearly 100% of the total cost.
- Transport in a 4×4 safari vehicle from your hotel in Arusha to the parks and back (other pick-up points possible, please contact us for the right price)
- Ground transportation in a 8 setter or 6 setter 4x4 Safari vehicle with English Speaking Driver guide: -
- 8 setter Safari vehicle has 6 windows seats (in the passenger cabin) and 1 window seat next to the driver (in front)
- 6 setter Safari vehicle has 4 windows seats (in the passenger cabin) and 1 window seat next to the driver (in front)
- Accommodation of your choice: from budget camping to staying in luxurious lodges, we can arrange it for you(the prices mentioned above are for overnight stays in Standard to Mid-range hotels/lodge/tented Camps according to the program, other prices are applicable for the other accommodation options).
The Tour Price Excludes
- Meals not listed above. eg Breakfast and Lunch on the first day, Lunch and Dinner on the last day.
- Tanzania Visa cost which is 50% except for Canadian and USA passport holders which is US$100.
- International and Domestic Flights and departure taxes (Quoted separately where applicable)
- Optional activities and excursions (short safari/tour after your Safari can be arranged upon request at an extra cost).
- Post accommodation in Zanzibar. If you wish, we can however assist you in finding a place that corresponds to your needs and budget.
- Flights or other transport to Arusha. We can however arrange airport pickup for you. Let us know your itinerary and we’ll make it happen!
- Tips for the crew. We recommend a tip of 25 USD per day for your guide, and 15 USD per day for your cook, to be divided between each member of your group.
- Serengeti Black Rhinos Project (Moru Kopjes) fees: US$ 100 + 35US$ (VAT18% & other fees) Per Person Per Day (Option, If you need).
- Ngorongoro | Ndutu balloon ride, per person Adult (Above 16yrs) $580, Child (7-16yrs) $530 {20th Dec - 31st March} Daily launch at dawn (6:30am) returning approx. 9:45am (Option, If you need).
- Serengeti balloon ride, per person Adult (Above 16yrs) $599, Child (7-16yrs) $545. {Central All year round, Western 15th May - 30th Oct, and North 15th June - 15th Jan} Daily launch at dawn (6:30am) returning approx. 9:45am (Option, If you need).
- Inoculations and personal insurance (e.g. Tanzania Visa, Travel, Medical and Baggage insurance, A doctor for the group, Laundry, Souvenirs, Telephone, Beverages (available to purchase) and all other services that are not mentioned as included.
- Holiday Surcharge : A supplement of US $ 40.00 per person per day will apply to all bookings on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31 December and 1st January
- A supplement of US $ 35.00 per person will apply to all bookings between Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April (for all 4 days) as Easter holiday surcharge.
