Our 3-Day Bwindi Mountain Gorilla Habituation Center Safari is a short safari to Uganda that will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to spend more time with the endangered mountain gorillas. On this trip you will have a chance to spend 4 hours with the mountain gorillas while participating in the process of getting them used to human presence. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is home to half of the remaining mountain gorillas in their natural habitat it is approximately 459 gorilla individuals in Bwindi and your visit to this park gives you 99% of seeing the mountain gorillas.

DAY 1
Pick up from Entebbe/Kampala and transfer to Uganda’s Bwindi
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
A Lodge / Tented Camp in Rushaga/Buhoma/Ruhija
On this day you driver guide for your trip will pick you from your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe or from Entebbe Airport and start the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, this drive is long but worth it you will enjoy amazing sceneries and meet up with the local communities along the way. You will have a stop at the Equator for photographs, lunch en-route and other optional multiple stops depending on your request and time.
DAY 2
Gorilla Habituation Experience and Community visit.
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
A Lodge / Tented Camp in Rushaga/Buhoma/Ruhija
After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the park headquarters for briefing from the Uganda wildlife Authority ranger guides who will allocate you a gorilla family group you will trek that day. In a group of 4 tourists, researchers and ranger guides you will set off into the thick impenetrable forest to start your search for the endangered rare species of Mountain Gorillas. Gorilla habituation involves hiking/walking through Bwindi Forest
DAY 3
Transfer back to Entebbe / Kampala to end the tour
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
Upon request with extra costs
Early morning breakfast, after you will start your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe with stopovers for photography in some of the areas with tourist’s attractions, you will arrive in Kampala/Entebbe in the late afternoon, and you will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight or to the airport for your departure. Transit Time: 8-9 hours drive. No accommodation, End of the 3 Day Bwindi Gorilla Habituation Trip.

This tour offers Vegetarian, Vegan and Halal food options on request. Simply let our administrator team know the food option that you prefer

- Gorilla trekking, all park entry fees, and government tax 18% VAT on tour fees and service which cost nearly 100% of the total cost.
- Accommodation of your choice: from budget camping to staying in luxurious lodges, we can arrange it for you (the prices mentioned above are for overnight stays in Basic or Budget or Standard or Mid-range or Luxury or Superior or VIP hotels/lodge/tented Camps according to the program, other prices are applicable for the other accommodation options).
The Tour Price Excludes

- Pre & Post Accommodation in Kampala (Can be arranged upon request at an extra cost)
- International and Domestic Flights and departure taxes (Quoted separately where applicable)
- Optional Uganda Chimpanzee Tracking Tour permit at additional US$200 per person per trek
- Extra day on Uganda Gorilla Habituation Tour permit at additional US$1,500 per person per trek
- Uganda Visa cost which is 50% except for Canadian and USA passport holders which is US$100.
- Optional activities and excursions (short safari/tour after your safari can be arranged upon request at an extra cost).
- Tips for the crew: - We recommend a tip of 25 USD per day for your guide, and 15 USD per day for your cook, to be divided between each member of your group.
- Inoculations and personal insurance (e.g. Visa, Travel, Medical and Baggage insurance, A doctor for the group, Laundry, Souvenirs, Telephone, Beverages (available to purchase) and all other services that are not mentioned as included.
- Holiday Surcharge : A supplement of US $ 40.00 per person per day will apply to all bookings on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31 December and 1st January
- A supplement of US $ 35.00 per person will apply to all bookings between Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April (for all 4 days) as Easter holiday surcharge.
